Churchill PTA Class Party-In-A-Box

Due to COVID, we are taking a different approach to Class Parties this year, at least for now.

So, we will be using a "Party-in-a-Box" approach where parent volunteers provide the ideas and supplies for the party (in a box!), and teachers use the box of ideas and supplies to implement the party in the classroom.

We are looking for parent volunteers to work in groups of 2-3 to assemble a "Party-in-a-Box" for each classroom and deliver it to Churchill by Tuesday, February 8. Teachers will then hold the class parties on the Friday before Winter Break.

Party in a Box Guidelines

Absolutely no food is allowed.

Please coordinate with the other volunteers for your class to provide 2 games and 1 craft.
When selecting games, please keep in mind the need for social distancing in the classroom.  Examples of successful games are Bingo, Pictionary, Trivia. For the craft, please be sure to provide an example, instructions and the correct amount of materials prepped and ready to go.
Volunteers may donate prizes (not a food item) or a book to read in class if desired.
Please provide an overview of the games and crafts with very clear instructions so a staff member can facilitate the party.
Volunteers should reach out to the teacher for the number of students and any restrictions or ideas. (For dual language students contact your child’s AM teacher.)
