2018 Marion County Community Homeless Connect
Volunteer opportunities are available on both Monday, 3/26 (event set-up) and Tuesday, 3/27 (day of event). Please make sure you know which date you are volunteering; you may sign-up for multiple shifts over both days.
Volunteers working on Tuesday are requested to attend an orientation on Monday, 3/26 from 5:30-7:30pm at First Baptist Church located at 395 Marion St NE, Salem. The orientation will allow volunteers to become familiar with the layout of the event, gain a greater understanding of Community Connect’s history, objectives and expectations, and learn the details of your specific volunteer role and duties.
The minimum age to volunteer for this event is 12-years. In addition, children between the ages of 12-15 must have a parent with them for the duration of their volunteer shift. All youth under 18-years of age must have a signed parental form (available at orientation).
