Adopt-A-Park In Person Projects

Celebrate Earth Day with Five Rivers MetroPark's annual Adopt-a-Park volunteer event on April 17th, 2021! The time is 9am - 11am, with a few select projects also being offered from 1pm - 3pm.

Five Rivers MetroParks cares deeply about the health of its employees, volunteers and community. Different from years' past, the Adopt-A-Park workday will be offered only to our current long-term volunteers. The Adopt-A-Park workday will include limited small group projects that comply with COVID-19 safety guidelines and protocols. As always, you will be able to choose the site and task that best suits you.

Volunteers can expect to:

  • Complete a health assessment form prior to your shift or when arriving for service
    • Click here to open the COVID-19 Volunteer Health Assessment. If possible, please print and complete the health assessment the morning before your volunteer shift, and bring the completed form to the Adopt-A-Park workday.
  • Wear a face covering and maintain six feet of social distance during service.
    • All projects will take place outdoors.
  • Utilize sanitizer for hands and shared equipment.
  • Tools will be provided. Please bring your own drinking water, dress for the weather, bring work/garden gloves in you have them, and you must wear a face mask.

As a note, we will not have a light lunch at RiverScape.

Thank you for participating!
