Fruit and Vegetable Co-operative
Kia ora and welcome to Te Herenga Waka—Victoria University of Wellington Fruit and Vegetable Co-operative’s volunteer sign-up folder.
The Co-op is a non-profit group of students and staff supported by Manawa Ora—Student Wellbeing at the University, Wesley Community Action, and Wellington Regional Public Health. The Co-op makes use of bulk buying power and volunteers to make up individual orders of freshly picked seasonal fruit and vegetables. The co-op is available to current staff and students as a great way to bring healthy food into our community.
This folder includes three different sign-up rosters, one for each campus. We need the most volunteers at Kelburn campus, where we pack the orders. In 2021, the co-op will run on Thursdays from 11 February to 2 December, including during the mid-year break and the mid-trimester breaks.
