The NAHN Community Outreach Committee wishes to provide many volunteer opportunities for the following reasons: 

• Mentorship opportunities for mentors involved in the NAHN Phoenix Mentorship with AZ Action Coalition Pilot Program
• Leadership opportunities for those interested in coordinating and implementing a health fair event while gaining experience and confidence in a community health setting
• Volunteer opportunities for current scholarship recipients or future scholarship candidates who wish to further NAHN’s mission to advance the health in Hispanic/Latin communities
• Nursing skills practice and learning the different modalities for providing culturally competent care in Spanish/English language
