AR Foodbank Volunteer Opportunities
The Arkansas Foodbank opened its doors in 1984 with a mission of providing food to those in need. Over the years the need has grown and so has our network of local pantries to serve the need. On January 1 of 2016, the Arkansas Foodbank and Arkansas Rice Depot united to fight hunger to better fulfill the shared mission of feeding hungry Arkansans more healthy and nutritious food. We are now a stronger organization that is better positioned to end hunger in Arkansas and only plan on expanding in 2017.
One of the most meaningful ways to join the fight against hunger is to spend some time as a volunteer at the Arkansas Foodbank. There’s no way we can feed the hundreds of thousands of Arkansans without the help of our volunteers.
