VKMF Solo & Small Ensembles

We are looking for volunteers to fill up the Adjudicator Secretary and Ambassador positions on our Solo and Small Ensembles Festivals, which will run from April 8th to April 29th, 2024, in various locations.

Adjudicator Secretary Duties:

• Assist adjudicator by taking attendance, collecting and returning music, recording marks and preparing certificates
• Set up and take down of adjudicator and secretary desks
• Introduce the adjudicator at each new session and/or class
• Ensure audience members remain quiet and do not film/record or use cellphones at all during classes

Festival Ambassador Duties:

• Welcome and greet guests and participants
• Set up and take down front desk
• Answer any questions people may have

We appreciate our volunteers, and deeply value those who dedicate their time to improving the experience of our festival participants. In thanks, we offer:

• Individuals who volunteer 10 times will receive a $100 honorarium.
• Individuals who volunteers 5 times will receive a $50 honorarium.
• Each volunteer shift will enter you in a draw to win prizes from our sponsors, like a pair of tickets to the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra.
