2024 Western Amateur

Dates: July 29th - August 3rd 

Volunteer Descriptions: 

Con-Am Registration – Greet and check-in Con-Am participants at bag drop. Direct Contestants to locker room facilities, driving range, and food and beverage locations. (Sun.)

Player Registration – Welcome players, give a brief verbal tour of the facilities, and provide club information and gift.  (Mon.)

Volunteer Coordinators – Assist with daily volunteer check in, equipment distribution, and shuttling to volunteer posts. (Tue., Wed., Thur., Fri., Sat.)

Scorecard Runners – Relay official scorecards from scoring stations at #9 and #18 to the official scoreboard and Tournament HQ.  (Tue., Wed., Thur.)

Walking Scorers – You will be assigned to walk with a group and collect hole by hole scores and enter them into the Golf Genius software. Further training/instructions will be provided. (Tue., Wed., Thur. Fri., Sat.)

Spotters – Assist players, caddies, WGA officials, and committee members with locating errant tee shots. (Tue., Wed., Thur., Fri., Sat.)

Standard Bearers – Accompany the last five groups of each wave and each match with a standard sign displaying the player’s names and the status of the match. (Thur., Fri., Sat.)
