Gastonia-12 Hours of Christmas

Least of These Carolinas hosts an event called 12 Hours of Christmas for children in foster/kinship care and we invite you to be a part. We collect wish lists from the children and ask the community to sponsor the children for Christmas. 

In December, children and their families attend a fun filled day and the caregivers leave with wrapped gifts.  

Starting this year, we're requesting that sponsors limit their contributions to $100 per child. This adjustment helps ensure a fair distribution of gifts, as many children receive support from multiple sources such as licensing agencies, counties, and community programs. By setting this new limit, we aim to still meet children's needs with either a significant item or several smaller ones.

Here's what you need to know before you sign up:

• We urge you to spend $100 and no more per child
• We recommend you buy items from the child's wish list, but you do not have to buy everything on the list
• Do not wrap the gifts
• Only new items for these children please
• If a child has a letter by their name, it means the other children with the same number but different ending letters live together

The gifts must be dropped off at Least of These Carolinas, 4100 East Franklin Blvd. Gastonia, NC 28056 during the following dates and times only:

October 9- November 16 

Mondays: 9am-4pm

Tuesdays: 9am-4pm

Wednesdays: 9am-4pm

Thursdays: 9am-4pm

Saturday November 16 1PM-5PM

No late gifts will be accepted.
