Front of House Volunteer Opportunities

Hello! Thank you so much for volunteering! Without you, there is no front of house experience!

Please look through all of the opportunities available! Just because you don't have a child in the production doesn't mean you can't come volunteer! Sign up for as many as you desire!

TIMING - Volunteer shifts are for the hour preceding the start of the performance and intermission and some post-performance (but no more than 20 minutes). The house meeting starts at the shift start time, so please arrive punctually!

FOOD - there is always coffee, tea and hot chocolate available to our amazing volunteers (at the Todd Wehr). Feel free to bring your own food and beverages, but know that these cannot be consumed during your patron-facing "shift."

PARKING - Please see individual event pages for details

DRESS - Comfortable and fun but professional! Thematic dress is encouraged! Please refrain from wearing large logos, profanity and anything overly ripped, low or short.

WHAT WILL I DO? - That varies with each performance, but can include concessions, merchandise, and program distribution! Your specific duties will be assigned at the usher meeting and detailed upon thereafter. Nothing is hard to do, but it might be very busy!

WILL I BE ABLE TO SEE THE PERFORMANCE? - Probably, but I cannot guarantee it. For most performances, there are unsold seats available for volunteers. However - if a performance is likely to sell out, you will need to purchase tickets to guarantee seating! At most, I need you to remain at your post through the curtain speech and to return to your post at the start of intermission. You can work a volunteer shift AND still see your kid do their magic on stage!

See you at your shift(s)!
