Center for New Music's Mission
The Center for New Music fosters contemporary music’s growth by giving practicing artists access to professional resources and expertise, and by providing them with opportunities for sharing knowledge and exploring new ideas.
We present approximately 150 concerts and events a year, and rely on dedicated new music lovers to help our staff produce these concerts. Concert volunteers get to see the show they volunteer at for free! Volunteer support helps us continue to pass on 100% of door revenue directly to the artists that perform.
Typically concert volunteers help with set up and clean up before shows, and break-down after the concert. Interested /knowledgeable volunteers can also help with stage management or production related assistance.
