WAS PTA Volunteer Positions 2025-2026

We have planned for a great year for our school community!  We look forward to working with all of you!  If you’re not sure about chairing/co-chairing an event, please reach out to us to find out the specifics!

Important Note: Any events that do not receive volunteers will unfortunately not run so please help us make this a fantastic fun year!  

• What is a “Coordinator” and their role?

    A coordinator/s role is to plan the event, submit paperwork, work with the executive PTA board and WAS administration to plan the event, recruit volunteers, create promotional material etc. This is both behind the scenes & front and center planning.

• What is a “Committee Volunteer”?    

Committee volunteers are those who help the chairpersons come up with ideas, find vendors, and help with all of the tasks the chairs have.  They also get first pick of “Event Volunteer” slots. This is behind the scenes planning.

• What is an “Event Volunteer”?

Event volunteers are those who may do any of the following the day(s) of event: Set Up, Take Down, volunteer AT/DURING the event.  This could be an as little as a half hour or as much time as you have available!    Event Volunteer sign ups will become available as the specific events get closer.
