Welcome! If you're interested in joining one of the BEST volunteer groups in Sacramento, you are in the right place! Here's some info about the opportunities we offer:

• A.M. SHIFT (M, T, Th, F 8:30-10:30 am) - stocking and prepping food bags; no client contact; team of 3 volunteers with direction from food closet leadership
• P.M. SHIFT (M, T, Th 12:15-2:30 pm) - light packing and distribution; client contact is limited to drive up distribution; team of 3 volunteers with direction from food closet leadership
• THURSDAY EVENINGS (Th 5:15-7:15 pm) - light packing and distribution to drive-up clients without a reservation; team of about 6 volunteers
• PHONE SHIFT (M, T, Th 10-12 pm) - answering phone calls from clients requesting to receive food distribution the same day; 1 volunteer

Use the links below to check out the available shifts. We love for volunteers to commit to regular days on an ongoing basis, but understand it isn't always possible with work or class schedules. 

If you're a NEW volunteer - sign up for the shift(s) that work for you and plan to arrive 15 minutes before the start of your first shift for orientation. Please also send us an email to let us know you're a new volunteer. Include your name, email, phone number, and date/time of first shift.
