5 Corners Farmers Market - Get Involved!

The Market relies on community volunteers to run smoothly.

Volunteering is an excellent opportunity to become more involved in the community and in the market operations.  We welcome people of all persuasions -- from senior citizens to responsible teens. There are jobs that are physical, like erecting canopy tents, to administrative and customer service jobs, such as answering questions at the market manager's tent.  The time commitment is between 1-2 hours depending on the shift you sign up for.  

Through volunteers, we are able to meet our mission to support local farmers and producers of fresh, high-quality foods and agricultural products; to increase availability and promote equal access of healthy, fresh, local food items; to educate the community about sustainable food practices and eating well for health; and to offer regular community events to stimulate business interest and vitality in downtown Essex Junction.
