2024 Gift Drop Weekend Volunteers

Thank you for your interest in volunteering!   Please choose the either the Christmas warehouse or the CPS District Office that you would like to volunteer at from the list below.   

Police Station Volunteers

Due to Covid restrictions, we are not able to be inside the stations and will instead be accepting deliveries in the parking lot.   Santas will bring their gifts to the police stations and hand them off to volunteers. Volunteers will check to ensure the boxes are properly labeled and have a content list.  Volunteers will be provided with supplies needed for Santas to label and make content lists if they are not on the box.   Volunteers will then move the boxes to the truck for transport.   This is a completely outdoor activity. Please dress accordingly.  

Warehouse Volunteers

Some of the Santas will be delivering their gifts to the warehouse. Volunteers will check to ensure the boxes are properly labeled and have a content list. The boxes will then be taken to the pallets, where they will be checked off the site list. Some of these volunteer jobs are outside or close to an open dock door, so please dress accordingly.  

Additional information

Please note that warehouse volunteers may be required to wear masks. We know there are no Government restrictions in place; however, we appreciate your understanding and help in keeping everyone safe. Many of our staff and volunteers will interact with our seniors and care facilities over the course of the program. 

This is a warehouse environment; please wear shoes appropriate for standing on concrete for long periods of time.   Most jobs are quite labour-intensive, although there are some options for those who require it.
