The philosophy of 'Get To' serve is real and therefore Parent Service Hours are not tracked with the exception of Lunch/Recess Monitor roles.   We trust that Greenhouse Families will serve where they are able. At the same time, the needs are real and parent service is needed to make these events possible.

All parents of Core Day students are asked to serve 15 hours per academic year per family,  For parents will Grammar/Logic students, plan on spending at least 5-10 hours of your service time on play related tasks.  

There are three main types of roles for Parent Service Hour activities:

• Weekly Roles - Ex - Lunch/Recess Monitors and Morning Check-In roles.
• Special Events - These roles assist in facility upkeep or long-range planning and preparing for the future of the Greenhouse Community. These include facility work-days, marketing, library, class room renovations, etc.
• Curricular Events - Events such as the Play, Art Show, Living Wax Museum, Science Fair, R@R, Junior/Senior Debates, Roman Comedies, and the End of Year Celebration.
