"Why?"

In Minnesota, we often see social media posts asking residents to shovel our their hydrants of snow in case of emergency. 

Listening to a fire call in real-time where the hydrant needed was buried in snow prompted me to ask if there were people in our communities willing to volunteer their time to prevent this from happening again and the response was outstanding. We have also heard from friends and neighbors asking for help with their nearest hydrant because they aren't physically able to do it themselves. Let's help our neighbors, friends, families, and our first responders. <3

*The home was safely evacuated before police and fire arrived. The fire was contained to the garage (based on scanner audio). The extent of the homes damage is not known.
