MBC Work Hours Page

Thanks for checking out the work hours sign up page! 

Each membership is required to complete 3 hours total per summer season. Your participation is essential in helping us run successful events. Without member support, some events may be subject to cancellation. Please read the descriptions and note whether they are work hours OR event registration. The Medford Boat Club is a working club, and we truly appreciate the involvement and commitment of our members in keeping it thriving.

Please note the following important updates:

• Life Members and members 65 years of age and older are exempt from work hour requirements.
• We are transitioning away from traditional work hour slips.
• The committee member overseeing each event will now be responsible for submitting completed hours directly to the Head of Work Hours.
• If you prefer to use a slip, they will still be available in the office upon request.
• Additional work hour opportunities will be posted throughout the summer season.

Cancellation Policy:
If you are unable to attend a scheduled work hour shift, you must contact the committee member responsible for that event within 24 hours of the event. Failure to do so will result in being charged for the work hours you signed up for, and you will not have the opportunity to make up those hours.
