Heart and Home Volunteers 2023-24

Thank you for your interest in volunteering with Heart and Home women's cold weather overnight shelter in Palo Alto! Signups for December at Covenant Presbyterian and January at Peninsula Bible Church are now open !

During winter 2023-24, we are operating within the County of Santa Clara's public health guidelines for Covid-19, wearing masks in a congregate shelter setting. We recommend that on-site volunteers have up-to-date Covid boosters, for everyone's protection.

This winter we anticipate operating in five locations:

• Nov. 5, 2023 - Dec. 3, 2023 at University Lutheran Church

• Dec. 3, 2023 - Jan. 7, 2024 at Covenant Presbyterian Church

• Jan. 7, 2024 - Feb. 4, 2024 at Peninsula Bible Church

• Feb. 4, 2024 - March 3, 2024 at First Presbyterian Church

• March 3, 2024  - April 15, 2024  at Unitarian Universalist Church of Palo Alto

We plan to open signups for each shelter location about 1 month before we move to a new site. You can also sign up below to donate supplies to our shelter. Thank you again for your support!
