FoodChain Volunteering
We are so excited for you to volunteer with FoodChain! FoodChain serves vulnerable populations including seniors, youth, and families. Volunteers are required to disclose in advance if there are any circumstances that would make them unable to work with these populations. FoodChain reserves the right to request a background check for volunteers and a full background check is required for any volunteers wishing to work with our education programs in schools, child care centers, and our summer youth programs.
If you are volunteering as a requirement for completing service hours and need hour verification, please email volunteer@foodchainlex.org before signing up to ensure program alignment.
