JA of the Space Coast Volunteering 25/26
Thank you for signing up to be a volunteer with Junior Achievement of the Space Coast! Your background and experiences inspire the future leaders of Brevard County.
What kind of opportunities are available?
In JA Career Speaker Series®, a volunteer guest speaker visits the classroom and shares information about their career, work, and education experience. The speaker may bring props, work samples, or other visuals to help engage students. Opportunities for CSS are separated by teacher. Speakers may visit as many teachers as they like, as long as you are not visiting the same class twice.
JA GLOW Women in STEM and Leadership is an assembly program for women showcasing three female professionals working in the STEM sector to share stories of successes, challenges, and lessons applicable to any career path.
Traditional JA Programs consist of several different JA learning experiences that focus on 3 pillars: financial literacy, entrepreneurship, and work and career readiness. These programs can range from 5 to 11 sessions long and require volunteers to visit the classroom multiple times (1 session = 1 visit).
Thank you again for your time and talents and if you have any questions regarding JA programs and volunteering, please reach out to bianca@jaspacecoast.org
