Community Service

Please ensure you bring any/all paperwork and documentation that will need to be completed upon fulfilling Community Service Requirements.

You may start volunteering at your convenience at the following thrift stores: 

• BOISE- State Street Mon-Sat 9:30 am - 7:00 pm, (6464 W State St, Boise, ID 83714)

• BOISE -Collister Plaza- Mon-Sat 9:30 am - 7:00 pm, (4614 W State St, Boise, ID 83703)

• BOISE- Broadway: Mon-Sat 9:30 am - 7:00 pm, (2160 Broadway Ave, Boise, ID 83706)

• Meridian: Mon-Sat 9:30 am - 7:00 pm, (213 N Main St, Meridian, ID 83642)

• Nampa: Tues/Thurs/Sat 10am-4pm (1403 2nd St S, Nampa, ID 83651)

Tasks:

Tasks vary, but it's best to expect sorting through donations, including tagging and organizing items, helping with floor displays, and assisting with any cleaning needed.

Schedule:

Our thrift stores are very flexible in terms of the time volunteers can help out. We ask that you volunteer for a minimum of an hour.  You can create a schedule that works well for you. If you have any questions regarding scheduling, please contact the store manager.

Attire: 

Volunteers are required to wear appropriate casual attire appropriate for a work environment. A t-shirt, jeans, and baseball caps are all acceptable. We ask that you refrain from wearing anything that could be considered offensive in a work environment. Close-toed shoes are required (sneakers are ideal). If you have hair long enough to pull back, we ask that you have it pulled back.
