SCS 2025 Volunteer Opportunities

Welcome back to Santa Cruz Shakespeare, and thank you for volunteering with us!

Our current opportunities include ushering for the winter show, beginning November 26th, 2025 and running through December 24th.

For Winter Show (A Christmas Carol) Ushering:

Ushers are required to arrive 1 hour before the show. Please plan accordingly so that you leave time for traffic and parking. The closest parking is at the River Front Garage (155 River St S, Santa Cruz, CA 95060).

Shows are hosted at the Veteran's Memorial Building (846 Front St, Santa Cruz, CA 95060). The theater is indoors, but we do recommend bringing a jacket in case. Please wear plain, professional clothing - the standard is a white blouse or dress shirt, and black pants with comfortable shoes for standing.

Please meet the House Manager for your orientation in the Front-of-House.
All ushers need to be present for orientation, even if you have ushered before.
