SCS 2024 Volunteer Opportunities

Welcome back to Santa Cruz Shakespeare, and thank you for volunteering with us!

Here is our current list of opportunities:

• Every Saturday from 10am to 2pm, we need help getting the Grove ready for the season. We have tasks for all ages and abilities - just bring a hat, a water bottle, and a positive attitude, and enjoy great company and a beautiful spring Saturday in one of the prettiest spots in Santa Cruz!
• Saturday May 4 is "Clean Out the Cobwebs" Day!  Come help us get our Q-Hut ready for our Box Office staff and everyone else to use! 
• This season's shows run July 13 - Sept 28, and we will need ushers and parking assistants at every performance!

All signups must go through the online SignUp.com system or through our website. We cannot take requests over the phone or by email. All volunteers must be 16 or older.

For performances, volunteers are required to arrive 2 hours before the show. Please plan accordingly so that you leave time for traffic and parking.

Ushers: Please meet for your orientation by the back row of seats at The Grove.
All ushers need to be present for orientation, even if you have ushered before.

Parking/Front-of-House Assistants: Please meet in front of The Grove Box Office. All Parking for Patrons, including Handicap Placards, is $10. Cars of 4+ people receive free parking, as do certain membership levels (there will be a printed list each day).
