Thank you for volunteering your time as a Room Parent! We would like for you to be the main source of communication between the PTO, your teachers, and the parents in your class. A summary of the duties is noted below. Our Room Parent Chair for this year is Nicole Hosty- please reach out to Nicole at bujoldn@gmail.com with any questions! Room Parent Duties: Make sure signups for your class are filled throughout the year. Organize a treat/gift/event for teachers for birthday and special events (weddings, babies, surgeries, etc). Send out reminders about events, activities, field trips, etc. Meet with your teacher as soon as possible to find out what further assistance they may need throughout the year. Please also consider organizing at least one parent social, this is especially helpful in the younger grades when parents are still trying to get to know each other. Thank you for your time!
