34th Annual Red Shoe Run/Walk

The Red Shoe Run/Walk is all about our community coming together to help RMHC-EIWI keep families together when they need it the most. Please join in by signing up to volunteer at the Red/Shoe Run Walk! The race will be on Sunday, May 6th. We will need many enthusiastic volunteers to help ensure this is a fun and successful day for all. 

Early Volunteer Packet Pick-Up: Come early on May 4th or May 5th from 10 AM - 8 PM and receive your volunteer t-shirt and specifics about your volunteer location and task ahead of time. This allows volunteers to arrive ahead of time and get any questions they may have answered! We still ask that these volunteers check in the morning of the race at the main volunteer table before going to their volunteer location. 

May 6th Packet Pick-Up: The morning of the Red Shoe Run/Walk, please find the volunteer table which will be located in front of the Ronald McDonald House of Iowa City. If you have not received your t-shirt during Early Volunteer Packet Pick-Up, we will have it ready for you that morning. We will help you get checked in, answer any last minute questions and point you in the right direction of your volunteer task for the day! Volunteer arrival time will vary from person to person, depending on which task you have signed up for. 

May weather in Iowa can certainly be very unpredictable! Come dressed comfortably and please remember sunscreen or bug spray if necessary.
