The Mobile Food Pantry is a program provided by The Food Bank of the Southern Tier that delivers fresh produce, dairy products, and other food and grocery items directly to distribution sites where people need food. All members of the IC community are welcome to "shop", choosing items that they need. Participation in this event is open to all members of the campus community to shop, volunteer, or donate to the Food Bank of the Southern Tier.
Thank you for your interest in volunteering! We ask that you please only commit to days/times that work best for your schedule as we rely greatly on our volunteers to work the shifts they have signed up for. Last minute cancellations and no-shows may result in all future signups to be cancelled.
VOLUNTEERS must also register with The Food Bank of the Southern Tier prior to volunteering: https://foodbankst.volunteerhub.com/lp/mfpvolun To register, navigate to the date and time of our event and click on sign up. Select ‘create an account’ and choose a username and password. Please be sure to read the volunteer agreement before you finish registering. For group members, click on ‘MFP Volunteers’ and hit next. On the next screen you will enter demographic information (you can use the address of the college) and click next. On the final screen you will need to read and accept the volunteer agreement.
