Easter Worship Volunteers

Thank you for volunteering to support our Easter worship services at Our Saviour's!
Easter Weekend Worship Times:
5 p.m. Saturday (Easter vigil);
7:30 a.m., 9 a.m. & 11:30 a.m. Sunday (Our Saviour's Campus), 10:15 (Celebration Campus)
All ages and abilities are welcome to serve!
A brief description for each volunteer role is in the signup document. The week before your volunteer shift, you will receive an email with details about your role. You're also invited to arrive early the day of your shift for a brief run-through.

Easter Hospitality Treats
Drop off 1-2 dozen treats to the kitchen at Our Saviour's campus (Wed, Thurs, or Fri) for sharing at all of our Easter Sunday services on April 20. *Sign up for a specific day, but if you drop off on a different day that is perfectly fine!

Communion Server
Serve communion elements (communion servers will wear robes).

Read one or two scriptures during the service (will be sent to you in advance).

Usher
Assist with bulletins and seating, collect offering (and place in safe after worship), take attendance, invite people forward for communion.

Coffee & Hospitality Setup
Make coffee, arrange coffee cart, bring to narthex for the start of worship.

Welcome people to worship, encourage wearing name tags.

Acolyte
Process/recess candles at beginning/end of worship.

Bell Ringer
Ring the bell at the start of worship.

Bible Bearer
Process the Bible into worship, at reading of the Gospel, and recess out of worship at end.

Communion Server
Distribute communion elements (servers will wear a robe at this service).

Processes the cross in and out of the sanctuary at the beginning and end of the service.

Nursery Attendant
Supervise children in the nursery during worship (2 people needed at each service if under age 18). Please arrive to nursery 15 minutes before start of worship service.

Distribute bulletins, take attendance, collect offering, invite people forward at communion, place offering in safe after worship.

Coffee Refresh Between Services
Refresh coffee cart before 9:00 service.

Parking Attendant
Assist in parking lot to ensure flow before/after 9:00 service.

Assist with setting up chairs before worship and returning them to racks after worship, for 10:15 service at Celebration campus.

Pastoral Team Driver (OS->Celebration
After 9am service: shuttle your pastors and vicar from OS Campus to Celebration Campus for 10:15 service (need 4 seatbelts). 5 star reviews for drivers who deliver the pastoral team safely and efficiently!
