B/A/Jr Difficulty Provincials 2024-2025
Join us for the 2024/2025 Difficulty (Lead) Provincials for our B, A, and Jr Athletes at Gravity Climbing Gym in Hamilton, Ontario. This is a one day Lead event. Athletes will have a flash format qualifying round of 2 routes followed by ISO and Onsight/Isolation format finals . We need many volunteers so please consider helping out and get a front row seat to some exciting climbing.

Qualifier Judge Session
Qualifying climbs for each category will be running at the same time. Please specify in the comments if you would prefer to judge a specific age or gender category. We recognize the shift is long, but this is a conservative estimate and climbing is likely to finish before 3 pm. If the qualification does take 6 hours, we will rotate floater judges to give everyone a break. Judges meeting will be at 8:30 am. Please make sure you allow time to check in with the gym and make it to this meeting.If you have not already done so, please complete the free online judges training offered by the CEC (https://climbingcanada.ca/e-learning/)

ISO Monitor
This volunteer is responsible for ensuring the rules of isolation are followed and that athletes are escorted to their climb at the right time. If you aren't sure if this is right for you, please feel free to email volunteer@climbontario.ca

ISO runner
This role involves checking the finalists and their coaches into the isolation zone escorting athletes and coaches between isolation zones and/or to the washroom.
