People's Kitchen Lunch Support
Hi! Thanks so much for your interest helping us in the kitchen. You may sign up for the 1st or 2nd shift or BOTH.
Please review the following info before your shift.
You must sign our volunteer waiver in order to work in the kitchen.
For your shift be sure to:
- Wear close toed shoes.
- Wear your hair tied back (if long) and covered. We have hairnets if you need them.
- Stay home if you are sick.
- Honor your commitment!
We are located at 1149 S. 9th St. Enter the glass door and then the door to your left is the kitchen.
PARKING is tricky in South Philly. Public transportation or walking or biking is preferred. If you have to drive, check for parking around Capitolo Playground, the park between 9th & 10th/ Federal & Wharton.
