Scholarship & Grant Review
Help the SAISD Foundation evaluate and select Innovative Educator Grant winners and scholarship awardees by joining our review committees this spring. The SAISD Foundation is committed to funding opportunities for employees of SAISD to implement innovative ideas to increase student success. Some of our most exciting classroom and school projects come forward om this process and our volunteers play an important role in helping to select the best. Each year, we award approximately 50 Innovative Educator Grants at roughly $5,000 each. Our selection committee will be asked to review 5-10 applications and use a rubric to score them then come together as a group to discuss.
Similarly, scholarship reviewers, are asked to review 10 student scholarship applications and score them using a rubric we provide. Volunteers are critical to helping to find the best matches for the scholarships we award to our inspiring and talented students by providing the SAISD Foundation with valuable input.
