Bull City Boomerang Bag Sewing Event
YOU CAN HELP MAKE THE BOOMERANG BAG INITIATIVE A REALITY IN DURHAM! You can join the volunteers who sew together in the Sew Crafty studio at 101 Orange St., which is very near the intersection of Parrish & Mangum Sts. Please sign up to be a part of the assembly line! Sewing experience is not required, other tasks are also needed, like ironing and pinning. If you want to learn how to sew we can teach you! There is room for 8 people in the studio at a time. Please don't feel obligated to stay for the full time slot on Tuesdays. If you can't get here until 7:00 or if you have to leave at 7:30, that's fine! We are happy to have any amount of time that you can give! Bull City Boomerang Bag is a reusable shopping bag initiative providing free and equitable access to reusable bags.
