  • St. Patrick’s Day (March 17 – technically a few days before spring, but still a great reason to celebrate!)

  • First Day of Spring (March 20)

  • Field Day 

  • Opening Day at the ballpark (usually early April)

  • Easter (April 17) - coordinate a community Easter scavenger hunt at the park

  • Earth Day  (April 22) - the perfect time to organize a neighborhood cleanup!

  • Spring Carnival 

  • Arbor Day (Apr 30) - get the whole neighborhood together to plant trees at the park or other approved venue

  • Teacher Appreciation Day (first Tuesday in May)

  • Star Wars Day (May 4)

  • Cinco de Mayo (May 5)

  • Kentucky Derby Day (varies, but always in May)

  • Mother’s Day (second Sunday in May)

  • Armed Forces Day (third Saturday in May)

  • Memorial Day (last Monday in May)

  • Project Graduation

  • Juneteenth (June 19)

  • Father’s Day (third Sunday in June)
